How to host a paid webinar: set the price, take payment and send access

Last reviewed October 23, 2026

Quick answerHost a paid webinar by choosing a live, replay or evergreen format, setting a ticket price, taking payment before registration and sending each buyer the access link automatically once the payment clears.

How to host a paid webinar: the five steps

To host a paid webinar, require payment before registration and let the platform register each buyer and send the access link. EasyWebinar's paid webinars, from the Growth plan, take payment through Stripe before registration and send the access link once payment clears. Paid webinar platform lists the other tools that do this.

  1. Choose live, automated, simulive or evergreen.
  2. Set the ticket price.
  3. Connect Stripe.
  4. Let buyers register and receive their access link.
  5. Decide how refunds are handled.

Choose the format: live, replay or evergreen

A paid webinar is a webinar that requires payment before a person can register or join. On EasyWebinar the paid setup is identical for live, automated, simulive and evergreen sessions, so you pick the format first and the ticket works the same way. A workshop can start live: EasyWebinar's FAQ says many teams begin with live webinars to test messaging and validate audience interest. Paid replay access can follow any live or automated session, with follow-up sequences after the event.

Set the price and connect payment

To sell webinar tickets online with EasyWebinar, set a ticket price and connect Stripe, per its paid-webinars page. Payments go straight to your Stripe account. EasyWebinar says it takes no percentage of ticket sales, and standard Stripe processing fees apply.

Access links, reminders and refunds to attendees

Once payment clears, attendees are registered and get their access link, with no exports to run. They join in a browser on desktop or mobile. EasyWebinar says its dashboard shows registrations, attendance, offer clicks and revenue for each webinar, and that refunds to attendees are managed there. Settle your ticket refund terms before sales open.

EasyWebinar's Terms make its own subscription fees non-refundable, which is the rule for what you pay EasyWebinar, not for your buyers.

In-session offers and replay offers are covered in how to sell on a webinar platform.

What hosting a paid webinar costs

Paid webinars are not on Launch. Growth is $116 a month billed monthly or $96 a month billed annually, as read on October 23, 2026, plus Stripe's fees on each ticket. EasyWebinar pricing lists every plan.

WebinarGeekPrice on its pricing pageStripe or Mollie
BigMarkerQuote only5% transaction fee on tickets

Growth holds 200 live attendees. Past that, EasyWebinar bills $0.78 for each extra live attendee, and Pro, $198 a month billed monthly, holds 500.

For a course seller moving a paid workshop with checkout inside the room, the choice between Growth and WebinarJam with EverWebinar, its companion product for automated webinars, comes down to where payment happens. Growth sells tickets and takes in-room checkout on one plan, while WebinarJam's pricing page lists live offer displays and payment-platform integrations.

Pick WebinarGeek to take tickets through Stripe or Mollie, and BigMarker for a quoted plan. A small workshop with a handful of buyers can use any checkout page and a plain meeting link. EasyWebinar's 7-day full-access trial applies to every plan and starts with no upfront subscription charge. A valid card is required, and your selected paid plan begins after the trial unless you cancel before it ends.
