Webinar follow-up sequence: emails for attendees, no-shows, replay viewers and buyers

Last reviewed October 23, 2026

Quick answerBuild a webinar follow-up sequence by sending each group its own emails: the next session to no-shows, the replay and a reminder to partial viewers, and a follow-up sequence to offer clickers.

Webinar follow-up sequence: one track per group

A webinar follow-up sequence sends each group its own emails, chosen by what the person did, not one blast to the whole list. EasyWebinar's EasyCRM, built in from the Growth plan, starts follow-up from six triggers: registered, attended, no-showed, watched replay, clicked offer and purchased. What is EasyWebinar explains the platform around it.

Attendees, offer clickers and buyers

From Growth, attendees, no-shows and partial viewers each see their own replay offer, per EasyWebinar's follow-up page. It calls an offer click the strongest signal short of a purchase, and the evergreen page pairs clickers with a follow-up sequence. For buyers, EasyWebinar's guidance is to stop the sales emails the moment someone buys, so end that sequence on the purchased trigger. The sales side of the session is in how to sell on a webinar platform.

No-shows and partial viewers

For a webinar no-show email, EasyWebinar's follow-up page says to send the replay quickly, lead with the single most useful idea from the session, and give a reason to watch before the replay closes. The unique replay link is how EasyWebinar tracks whether someone showed up, so switch the replay page on first.

Each email takes a subject line and shortcodes such as #REPLAY_LINK#, and a follow-up message can send one day after the webinar ends. Replay expiry works as a deadline, ending at midnight a set number of days after the session the person registered for.

Power Follow-Ups are EasyWebinar's behavior-based groups, such as users who left early or missed the offer. Anyone meeting the criteria automatically receives that message.

Sending limits and the opt-out rule

Sending is metered separately. EasyWebinar's EasyCRM page says messaging and calling usage is separate and that included CRM access does not mean unlimited sending or calls. Its pricing grid calls email sending usage-based and gives no rate.

For commercial email, 16 CFR 316.5 (eCFR, content as of October 21, 2026) bars requiring a recipient to pay a fee, give more than an email address and opt-out preferences, or do more than send a reply or visit a single web page to opt out. This is not legal advice.

Tools that send by behavior

Growth is $116 a month billed monthly, as read on October 23, 2026. EasyWebinar's follow-up page puts behavior-based follow-up at Growth and custom delays on Pro. Growth connects to 13 CRM and email tools, including ActiveCampaign, Kit and Zapier (Zapier on Growth and above), and native HubSpot sync starts at Pro.

EasyWebinar can send nine behavior tags, such as Missed and Watched Replay, to a connected CRM, so an email platform you already use can keep running the sequence. The whole chain from sign-up to checkout is in automated webinar funnel.

EasyWebinar's help center describes follow-up emails by audience group without naming a plan, while its follow-up page says behavior-based follow-up starts at Growth, so confirm your plan before you build the sequence. The pricing page lists a 7-day full-access trial for each plan, with no upfront subscription charge. The card must be valid, and the selected paid plan starts when the trial ends unless you cancel before then.
